Temperature SwitchTemperature and cooling fan switches are used to activate the vehicle cooling system, based on the engine temperature. This can turn on the radiator fan, assisting with the coolant temperature and activate warning alarms to inform possible overheating.
The switch is operated using a bimetal disc which is formed by two metal with different thermal expansion coefficients. This disc is specially calibrated to snap at specific temperatures, and activate the switch contact (On or Off) by pin displacement. Can be designed with different fitting materials, adjusted to desired temperature ranges, and combined with various electrical connectors. |
