Binary & Trinary Pressure Switch

Mechanical pressure switches for automotive are used in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems to protect the compressor loss of refrigerant. They are nonadjustable pressure controls that are based on a snap-acting sensor. We offer single level, binary, and trinary switches for different applications.

Can be designed with different fitting materials, adjusted to desired pressure ranges, and combined with various electrical connectors.

Single level switches typically operate on only low pressure (switching compressor off at low pressure cut-off). 

Binary switches have both low and high pressure functions (shutting compressor off to prevent damage and prevent turning on if pressure is too low).

Trinary switches have the binary (high/low) functions in addition to a fan control operation (turning A/C condenser cooling fan on).
